- How did your career start, and what has your work experience been? My career started with a passion for the environment: I knew I wanted to work in the environmental field. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, I started in a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) position at another company, where I worked for a year. After that I was hired at Clean Earth in Carteret. I appreciated Clean Earth’s stance on sustainability and the long-term goals of caring for our planet. Working at Carteret helped to shape my future career goals and gave me great, new perspectives on the world.
- Will you talk about your current role at Clean Earth? Currently, I am a Compliance Approvals Manager for our Corporate Approvals Team. My job is to review large projects that may be designated to ship to multiple facilities within our company. In this position, it is important to focus on the details of a project and review every aspect carefully.

- Let’s talk about some of the highlights of your career. What has been the most rewarding or meaningful part of your work experience thus far? One of the most rewarding parts of my job has been seeing some of the job sites I have approved material from in my travels around my area. I saw one site the last time I was in New York City that we had accepted material from in multiple phases. It is very cool to witness the work come to life, especially since the majority of my position is analyzing data and reports on a computer.
